I'll need all day tomorrow to recover from today.

Hello! Sorry for the lack of posts but I have been SUPER busy with the new job. This is my first day off in ten days! Now today I have to run errands and then meet up with Amanda for a dance party later on.

These pictures were taken on my going away party at the bank. Miss Stephanie Baur took these snaps and got a couple before my batteries died. Alright lovely's, off to make the best of my day off.

Give up your job at the bank proving money's not fun when you're gone.

Today was my last day at the bank I worked at for five years. I was sad to go, but at the same time I am moving forward into a new direction towards my goals and ambitions. I have made some great friends and have learned a lot from my experiences there. I am taking a leap, a chance, and I hope that it is a positive one. 

Thursday was my "Good Bye" lunch. I asked for tacos and brownies... yum! They also got me a pretty cake, and another co-worker of mine bought me an Audrey Hepburn journal. I was so excited to see it-- I need a journal for my new job! For those co-workers that follow my blog and support me THANK YOU! You guys are awesome and I am going to miss each and every one of you!!

Really, this is a house in Old Fallsington, near where my wonderful friend Jordyn, also the photographer of these pictures, lives. It is a beautiful little town in PA with old buildings everywhere. I love this outfit. Everyone at work was telling me I look like I am strait out of the 70's, which I don't mind at all. Another rainy day here in Philadelphia. Trying to enjoy my two days off before having to go back to work! I think I am going to finish "The Help" today (if you haven't read it-- get to it! It is an amazing book).

It's 11:11, you wanna talk?

Today was a super busy day! I had to run to work, run home and wait for the roofer, meet up with Amanda to go to Home Goods, AC Moore, Target, then to the mall to see Stacy, then to Amanda's mom's for dinner, and home again. PHEW! Now I am sitting on my bed (currently in the living room due to the leak), watching Sex and the City, with Floydie laying next to me on the coach snoozing away.  Back to work tomorrow! My days off always seem to just fly on by!

P.S. Notice my title? Well look at my watch in the one picture... lol!

Summer's almost gone.

 

 

Today was a beautiful day in Philadelphia! After days and days of rain, Mother Nature has given us a nice day. I actually don't mind the rain so much-- I wish my roof weren't leaking so I could actually ENJOY the rainy days!

These pictures are from when my family came up from OBX. My beautiful cousin, Jackie, took these pictures and they came out amazing! Jackie and I have similar taste, so of course I was gushing over all her easy breezy, beachy chic wardrobe. The first set of pictures were when Jared and I took her to the city; South Street, University City, and Geno's of course! The next set were from when we all went tubing down the Delaware.

Introducing the love of my life.... FLOYD THE BEAGLE! He is actually napping next to me as I type this. Jared rescued him from the Women's Humane Society, and at first I was hesitant. Now, I absolutely ADORE him (even though he is naughty sometimes). On this particular day, Jared and I took Floyd to the park. I opted for a light button up and some kick around shorts since I knew we would be sitting in the sand.

Isn't Floydie such a good model?!!! Such a cutie!

it's you I need in the summertime.

These pictures were taken right when I dyed my hair darker. I was going for the Kate Middleton look, ahaha. Now it is a lot lighter and shorter. I literally had a birds nest when I pulled my hair to one side, so as sad as I am that I had to chop my hair, I am happy that it is healthy. 

On to the outfit... I LOVE THIS DRESS. I bought it a few years ago and absolutely love it! It is sweet in the front and modern in the back. I wore this to work so i would probably swap out the flats for some sandals or pumps, depending on what I was doing that day/night.
