Style Inspiration: Michelle Williams

Hello loves! Yes, it has been a while since I have updated. I have been super busy (working in retail + holiday season = yikes). After seeing some friends at a Christmas Eve party, I was informed that I don't post enough and this needs to change. I agree!

So here is an update of one of my style inspirations: Michelle Williams. She has come a long way since Dawson's Creek, and I think that her style is FABULOUS now. One day, I will be brave enough to rock  the hair cut from the first set of pictures... it is so gorgeous! Oh and don't forget her most adorable accessory... her daughter Matilda!

Warby Parker Event

Last week, Jordyn and went down to N 3rd Street to check out Warby Parker's new showroom here is Philadelphia! It was a pretty metro scene, everyone rocking their Warby Parker glasses.

When we walked in we instantly gravitated towards the music area, where they had all these head phones where you can listen as you remixed music and such. As you can see, they used Beatles music for this display! As Beatles fans, Jordyn and I were ECSTATIC!

Then, we went for it: the glasses display where you can try on frames that Warby Parker has available. I am on a search for another pair, I currently have the Crosby. I was also on the search for some new prescription sunnies, and spotted these. Did I mention that every pair is only $95 and for every pair you buy, they give a pair to someone in need? Pretty awesome if you ask me! It was so packed that I did not make a definite choice, so I want to go back ASAP!

Hope everyone had an amazing Turkey Day! Now I NEED to get some sleep.. I have work in 4.5 hours! Black Friday, le sigh.

These are a few of my favorite things.. about winter.

As the end of October 2011 wraps up, we are suppose to get a little snow here in Philadelphia. All this snow talk is reminding me of Winter that is vastly approaching us, as well as [[dun dun]] the Holiday Season! For whatever reason I am already getting amped up for the Holidays (I normally dread them) and I don't know why. Here is an explanation of my pictures:

1-4: Obvious winter choices. Boots, over sized sweaters, fabulous coat, and a sequined skirt? Perfection.

5: After a long day of work or a cold weekend, who wouldn't want a cozy fire place to snuggle with your pup next to or get invested into a good book? Next house is DEFIANTLY going to have one of these babies.

6: Yummy, warm drinks. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa. vanilla chai.. all delicious and warms you up on a cold day!

7 & 8: These are my holiday favorites. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bing Crosby. You will love him too after you watch Holiday Inn. Now. Oh and A Santa Cause is my favorite Christmas CD. Okay it isn't your traditional Christmas album, but they do have a couple covers and some new songs... if you are into punkish/emo/screamo type music. I have had it since high school and I continue to listen to it every year.

9: Winter accessories! Hats, scarves, gloves! Cheap and easy to mix and match with your winter coat, or in my case (and maybe some of yours), coats!

10: Old fashioned Christmas lights.

11: Watching the snow fall.

Okay I need to stop because I keep thinking of things that I love about winter. lol. But lastly, what love the most.. since I don't have a REAL fireplace... I just YouTube this one...

Stay warm!
